A bit of something I did for Suikosource for their weekly art rotation thingie... I hope they don't mind me putting it up here before it goes on there...
I have to admit, Suikoden 3 is not my favourite, but this ending part... it really touched me... I felt sad for these two but I thought it was a good way to end... my favourite part of all in the game...
Awww. it does have a very sad tone...... beautiful piece though.

PLEASE DON'T SAY "THANK YOU", IT'S IMPLIED.... and everytime you say 'thank you' I'm forced to kill a kitten! Do you wanna be the one responsible for making me kill a kitten?!
"Wow" is a nice one word response that's appropriate. I do have a criticism though, the atmosphere around the characters is so bright, I feel it takes away from the emotion somewhat. The characters themselves are well detailed and look incredibly natural in their poses, so major thumbs up for that.

Look, up in the sky, its a bird, its a plane.... well okay, that's Superman. But to the LEFT of him you'll see Sphynx!!!!
Mmm I agree with you: Suikoden 3 wasn't very good... but at least it was better than Suikoden Four XP.
As for the pic... yea the background is a bit too bright, but everything else is well-done. The poses are natural, the lighting is good, and I can immediately understand what's going on. I never thought that little Luc would grow up to be such a dangerous man...
Also, I liked the story in Suikoden 4... and the characters are much more fun... nothing beats Suikoden 2, of course, but 4 wasn't a bad Suikoden game except for the 4 member per party, the stupid level up Unite attack and the goddamn no-good piece- of-slow-ass crap world map...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
