A bit of an idea that's running thru my head currently.

Basically it's about a girl in mordern times who was chosen to be a Dragonslayer, so she's got the magical Scythespear, guard piece (on her neck) and Slayer Boots but... she doesn't really have any dragons to slay in this day and age...

Or is there?

What will I do with this idea? I'll probably try to pitch it to a local comic magazine or something...

Really? I've seen Haruhi and I don't remember any dragons and reality doesn't really revolve around Zinda whereas it does for Haruhi... and plus, no android, psychic or Time traveller in Zinda's array of friends ^o^

I guess it's more the juxtaposition of something marvelously improbable in an urban modern-day setting and stuff?

would be cool to see dragons that have 'modernized' themselves to take on the characteristics of modern phenomena found in cities and such. a trash dragon, a Highway Dragon, etc.

like they were spirits of the earth or whatever, and as the earth changed, so did they.
